Privacy Policy
Ramble is a voice journal that runs entirely on your iPhone. It has no account system, no user database and no server that can read what you record. This policy explains, in plain language and without exceptions hidden in footnotes, exactly what the app does with information.
1. The short version
We do not collect, receive, store, sell, share or analyse your personal data, because there is no place for it to go. Your recordings, transcripts, notes, moods, photos and settings are written to your own device and are never transmitted to us. We operate no backend for the journal, so there is no database that could be queried, breached or handed over. The App Store privacy label for Ramble is Data Not Collected, and it is accurate.
2. Who is responsible
Ramble is published by Ramble (“we”, “us”). For anything in this policy you can write to help@talkramble.com. Because we hold no personal data, we do not operate a separate data protection office; correspondence reaches the developer directly.
3. What we collect
Nothing. Ramble does not ask for an email address, a phone number, a name or an account. It contains no analytics framework, no advertising SDK, no crash reporter that transmits to a third party, no attribution or fingerprinting library, and no tracking of any kind. The app declares no tracking domains and no collected data types in its privacy manifest.
We therefore do not build profiles, do not run automated decision-making about you, and cannot recognise you across apps, sites or devices.
4. Where your journal lives
Everything you create stays in Ramble's own storage area on your device. Audio files and the sensitive fields attached to them are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM; the encryption key is generated on your device and stored in the iOS Keychain, which is protected by the system and by your device passcode or biometrics.
Transcription is performed on the device using Apple's on-device speech framework. Your audio is not uploaded to us or to Apple for transcription, and the feature works in Airplane Mode. Insights, statistics and reflections are computed locally from your own entries; they are deterministic calculations, not a language model, and nothing about them leaves the phone.
5. Every network request the app can make
This is the complete list. Each item is optional, is triggered only by a feature you turn on or use, and goes to Apple. Ramble contacts no other company's servers.

Your recordings, transcripts, notes, moods and photos are not part of any request above and never leave the device.
6. Permissions, and why each one is asked
- Microphone. To record your voice journal. Required for the core function.
- Speech recognition. To turn a recording into searchable text, on the device.
- Location, while using the app. Only if you enable the weather feature. See section 7.
- Face ID / Touch ID. To lock the app or a single entry. Biometric data is handled by iOS and is never seen by Ramble; the app only receives a yes or no.
- Apple Music. To read what is currently playing so it can be suggested as the song of the moment.
- Camera. To take a photo for an entry, a category, a mood or a pack icon.
- Add to Photos. Only when you use Save Image on a card you chose to share, which writes that one image to your library. Ramble never reads your photo library for this and asks for no read access.
Every permission is optional except the microphone, the app remains usable without them, and each one can be withdrawn at any time in iOS Settings.
7. Weather and location
The weather feature is off by default. If you turn it on, Ramble asks iOS for your approximate location and uses it for a single WeatherKit lookup. Your location is never sent to us, is not written to a server, and no location history is kept.
What is saved to the entry is only the result: a weather symbol and a temperature. The entry contains no coordinate field at all, by design, and an automated test in our codebase enforces that.
8. Backups
Backups are optional and are always free. A backup file is written to a location you choose, normally your own iCloud Drive or a folder on your iPhone. It is not stored inside the app, and it is not sent to us.
Backup files are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. You may additionally protect a backup with a passphrase that only you know. If you do, nobody, including us, can open that file. We have no key, no copy and no ability to recover it, so please keep the passphrase somewhere safe.
Where a backup lives in your iCloud Drive, Apple's terms and privacy policy apply to that storage.
9. Analytics, advertising and tracking
There are none. Ramble contains no third-party SDKs. It does not use the Advertising Identifier, does not participate in any ad network, does not measure attribution, and does not share anything with data brokers. There is no A/B testing framework and no remote configuration that could quietly change these answers.
10. Purchases
Ramble Voice+ is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Payment details are handled by Apple and are never seen by us. We receive no card number, no billing address and no identity. The app asks Apple whether an entitlement is active and stores the answer locally so the app keeps working offline.
11. Children
Ramble is rated 4+ and contains no user-generated content shared between people, no chat, no social features and no advertising. Because the app collects nothing, it collects nothing from children either.
12. Your rights
Data protection law, including the GDPR in the European Economic Area and the KVKK in Türkiye, gives you rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability against a party that processes your personal data.
We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to disclose, correct or delete. In practice you exercise these rights directly and immediately on your own device: everything is visible in the app, editable in the app, exportable from the app, and deletable in the app. Deleting Ramble from your iPhone removes its on-device data with it. If you believe we have nevertheless processed personal data about you, write to us and we will investigate and answer. You also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.
13. Security
Ramble encrypts audio and sensitive fields at rest, keeps its key in the iOS Keychain, and can be locked behind Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode. It can also block screenshots and screen recording of your journal. No system is perfect, and the physical security of your device and of any backup you export remains in your hands.
14. Changes to this policy
If the app ever gains a feature that changes any answer above, this page will be updated before that feature ships, and the version number and date at the top will change. We will not quietly weaken these commitments. If a change is material, the app will tell you about it in the app.

1. Kısa hâli
Kişisel verini toplamıyor, almıyor, saklamıyor, satmıyor, paylaşmıyor ve analiz etmiyoruz; çünkü gidebileceği bir yer yok. Kayıtların, transkriptlerin, notların, duyguların, fotoğrafların ve ayarların kendi cihazına yazılır ve bize hiçbir zaman iletilmez. Günlük için bir arka uç işletmiyoruz, dolayısıyla sorgulanabilecek, sızdırılabilecek ya da bir yere teslim edilebilecek bir veritabanı yok. Ramble'ın App Store gizlilik etiketi Veriler Toplanmaz'dır ve bu doğrudur.
2. Sorumlu kim
Ramble, Ramble tarafından yayımlanır (“biz”). Bu politikayla ilgili her şey için help@talkramble.com adresine yazabilirsin. Elimizde kişisel veri bulunmadığı için ayrı bir veri koruma birimi işletmiyoruz; yazdıkların doğrudan geliştiriciye ulaşır.
3. Ne topluyoruz
Hiçbir şey. Ramble e-posta, telefon, ad ya da hesap istemez. İçinde analitik altyapısı, reklam SDK'sı, üçüncü tarafa veri gönderen çökme raporlayıcısı, atıf ya da parmak izi kütüphanesi ve herhangi bir izleme yoktur. Uygulama, gizlilik manifestosunda hiçbir izleme alan adı ve hiçbir toplanan veri türü beyan etmez.
Bu nedenle profil çıkarmıyoruz, hakkında otomatik karar üretmiyoruz ve seni uygulamalar, siteler ya da cihazlar arasında tanıyamayız.
4. Günlüğün nerede duruyor
Oluşturduğun her şey, cihazındaki Ramble'a ait depolama alanında kalır. Ses dosyaları ve onlara bağlı hassas alanlar diskte AES-256-GCM ile şifrelenir; şifreleme anahtarı cihazında üretilir ve sistem tarafından, ayrıca cihaz parolan ya da biyometrinle korunan iOS Keychain'de saklanır.
Transkripsiyon, Apple'ın cihaz-içi konuşma altyapısıyla cihazda yapılır. Sesin transkripsiyon için ne bize ne Apple'a yüklenir ve özellik Uçak Modu'nda çalışır. İçgörüler, istatistikler ve yansımalar kendi kayıtlarından yerel olarak hesaplanır; bunlar bir dil modelinin ürünü değil, deterministik hesaplardır ve hiçbiri telefondan çıkmaz.
5. Uygulamanın yapabileceği her ağ isteği
Liste eksiksizdir. Her madde isteğe bağlıdır, yalnız senin açtığın ya da kullandığın bir özellikle tetiklenir ve Apple'a gider. Ramble başka hiçbir şirketin sunucusuna bağlanmaz.

Kayıtların, transkriptlerin, notların, duyguların ve fotoğrafların yukarıdaki isteklerin hiçbirinin parçası değildir ve cihazdan çıkmaz.
6. İzinler ve her birinin gerekçesi
- Mikrofon. Sesli günlüğünü kaydetmek için. Temel işlev için zorunludur.
- Konuşma tanıma. Bir kaydı cihazda aranabilir metne çevirmek için.
- Konum, uygulamayı kullanırken. Yalnız hava özelliğini açarsan. Bkz. 7. bölüm.
- Face ID / Touch ID. Uygulamayı ya da tek bir kaydı kilitlemek için. Biyometrik veriyi iOS yönetir, Ramble hiç görmez; uygulamaya yalnız evet ya da hayır döner.
- Apple Music. O an çalanı okuyup “anın şarkısı” olarak önerebilmek için.
- Kamera. Bir kayıt, kategori, duygu ya da paket simgesi için fotoğraf çekmek üzere.
- Fotoğraflar'a ekleme. Yalnız paylaşmayı seçtiğin bir kartta Görüntüyü Kaydet dediğinde, o tek görseli kitaplığına yazmak için. Ramble bunun için fotoğraf kitaplığını hiç okumaz ve okuma izni istemez.
Mikrofon dışındaki her izin isteğe bağlıdır, uygulama onlarsız da kullanılabilir ve her biri iOS Ayarlar'dan istediğin an geri alınabilir.
7. Hava ve konum
Hava özelliği varsayılan olarak kapalıdır. Açarsan Ramble iOS'tan yaklaşık konumunu ister ve bunu tek bir WeatherKit sorgusu için kullanır. Konumun bize hiçbir zaman gönderilmez, bir sunucuya yazılmaz ve konum geçmişi tutulmaz.
Kayda yazılan şey yalnız sonuçtur: bir hava sembolü ve bir sıcaklık. Kaydın içinde koordinat alanı hiç yoktur; bu bilinçli bir tasarımdır ve kod tabanımızdaki otomatik bir test bunu sabitler.
8. Yedekler
Yedekleme isteğe bağlıdır ve her zaman ücretsizdir. Yedek dosyası senin seçtiğin bir konuma yazılır; genellikle kendi iCloud Drive'ın ya da iPhone'undaki bir klasör. Uygulamanın içinde saklanmaz ve bize gönderilmez.
Yedek dosyaları AES-256-GCM ile şifrelenir. Ayrıca yedeği yalnız senin bildiğin bir parolayla koruyabilirsin. Bunu yaparsan o dosyayı biz dâhil hiç kimse açamaz. Elimizde anahtar, kopya ya da kurtarma imkânı yoktur; bu yüzden parolanı güvenli bir yerde tut.
Yedek iCloud Drive'ında duruyorsa o depolama için Apple'ın koşulları ve gizlilik politikası geçerlidir.
9. Analitik, reklam ve izleme
Hiçbiri yok. Ramble üçüncü taraf SDK içermez. Reklam Tanımlayıcısı'nı kullanmaz, hiçbir reklam ağına katılmaz, atıf ölçmez ve veri simsarlarıyla hiçbir şey paylaşmaz. A/B test altyapısı ve bu cevapları sessizce değiştirebilecek uzaktan yapılandırma yoktur.
10. Satın almalar
Ramble Voice+ Apple'ın Uygulama İçi Satın Alma sistemiyle satılır. Ödeme bilgilerini Apple yürütür, biz hiç görmeyiz. Bize kart numarası, fatura adresi ya da kimlik ulaşmaz. Uygulama Apple'a bir hakkın etkin olup olmadığını sorar ve cevabı yerelde saklar; böylece çevrimdışıyken de çalışmayı sürdürür.
11. Çocuklar
Ramble 4+ derecelendirmesine sahiptir; kişiler arasında paylaşılan kullanıcı içeriği, sohbet, sosyal özellik ve reklam içermez. Uygulama hiçbir şey toplamadığı için çocuklardan da hiçbir şey toplamaz.
12. Hakların
Veri koruma mevzuatı, Avrupa Ekonomik Alanı'nda GDPR ve Türkiye'de KVKK dâhil, kişisel verini işleyen bir tarafa karşı erişim, düzeltme, silme, kısıtlama, itiraz ve taşınabilirlik hakları verir.
Elimizde sana ait kişisel veri bulunmadığı için açıklayacağımız, düzelteceğimiz ya da sileceğimiz bir şey yoktur. Uygulamada bu hakları doğrudan ve anında kendi cihazında kullanırsın: her şey uygulamada görünür, uygulamada düzenlenebilir, uygulamadan dışa aktarılabilir ve uygulamada silinebilir. Ramble'ı iPhone'undan silmek, cihazdaki verisini de birlikte kaldırır. Adım adım anlatım veri silme sayfamızda.
Buna rağmen hakkında kişisel veri işlediğimizi düşünüyorsan bize yaz; inceleyip cevap veririz. Ayrıca yerel denetim makamına şikâyet hakkın vardır.
13. Güvenlik
Ramble sesi ve hassas alanları diskte şifreler, anahtarını iOS Keychain'de tutar ve Face ID, Touch ID ya da cihaz parolanın arkasına kilitlenebilir. Ayrıca günlüğünün ekran görüntüsünü ve ekran kaydını engelleyebilir. Hiçbir sistem kusursuz değildir; cihazının ve dışa aktardığın yedeğin fiziksel güvenliği senin elindedir.
14. Bu politikadaki değişiklikler
Uygulama yukarıdaki cevaplardan birini değiştiren bir özellik kazanırsa, bu sayfa o özellik yayına çıkmadan önce güncellenir ve başlıktaki sürüm numarasıyla tarih değişir. Bu taahhütleri sessizce zayıflatmayız. Değişiklik esaslıysa uygulama bunu sana uygulama içinde söyler.
